You can find a lot of lost and recovered goods for sale at Police auctions. This is because when goods are
handed in to the police, it is usually possible for the finder to have the goods back if they are not claimed within
a certain period of time. However, if the Police find goods, then they can be sold at the discretion of the Chief
Constable. Often, the goods end up being auctioned.
