Police Auctions
Lost and Recovered Goods
When goods are handed in to the police, it is usually
possible for the finder to have the goods back if they are not claimed within
a certain period of time. However, if the Police find goods, then they can be
sold or disposed of. This is at the discretion of the Chief Constable. Often,
the goods end up being auctioned.
