Lost and Recovered Goods
When goods are handed in to the police, it is usually possible for the finder to
have the goods back if they are not claimed within a certain period of time. However,
if the Police find goods, then they can be sold or disposed of. This is at the discretion
of the Chief Constable. Often, the goods end up being auctioned.
