Police and Government Auction Sources UK: Limited Weekly Update for Week Beginning 27 April 2020
We are very excited to see that the auction houses that we list are beginning to adapt to what some people are beginning to describe as the “new normal”. Going back to 23 March 2020, we were not sure if we would be doing weekly updates again, however we are now starting to see virtual viewing, online bidding and the availability of courier collections to get your items. With that in mind, here is a limited update of what’s happening this coming week. We look forward to the availability of auctions growing over the next few weeks and hopefully we will be back to a normal service after the current government restrictions begin to get lifted. BCVA The next auction will be on 28 April 2020. This is a timed online auction and will include designer clothing, trainers, cosmetics and therapy systems. This auction house has been found to deal with items on behalf of various police forces as well as airports, government agencies, bailiffs and insolvency specialists. Visit BCVA Biddle and Webb There will be a property, jewellery, silver, watches and interiors auction on Saturday 02 May 2020. There are two residential properties for sale as well as rings, bracelets, necklaces, watches and various other assorted items. This auction house has been found to deal with items on behalf of West Midlands Police. Some viewings are now available via Facebook Live and a courier service for collection and delivery is possible. Visit Biddle and Webb Wilsons Auctions There are several online auctions taking place this week. This auction house has been found to deal with items on behalf of Police Scotland. 28 April 2020: online auction of cosmetics including fine fragrances, makeup, men’s grooming products, dental hygiene items, bathing and washing products and plenty of job-lots of assorted cosmetics. 29 April 2020: online auction of seized vehicles including a few private vehicles as well as a quantity of light commercial vehicles and heavy goods vehicles. 29 April: online government auction including fine wines, jewellery and sports cars. 30 April: online auction of luxury goods including designer clothing and footwear. Visit Wilsons Auctions John Pye John Pye has launched John Pye Trade that offers stock sold by the pallet and truck load. UK delivery is now available on all orders. This auction house has been found to deal with items on behalf of various police forces. A couple of examples: pallet of assorted kitchen stock, tool chest and gaming accessories RRP £4,864 being sold for £703 (ex VAT); pallet of assorted household small domestic appliances RRP £2,422 being sold for £503(ex VAT).
