A Broken Energy Market
As we are all too aware, energy prices have been rising considerably in recent years, to the point where
the government has had to step in to help those most vulnerable, unable to afford to run even a
modest amount of heating and lighting. Solar energy has long been an option, however it has
traditionally come at a big upfront cost, in terms of the hardware and installation expertise required.
This high cost has been maintained by a lack of transparency by both the energy companies and solar
panel retailers and installers, as well as the solar panel retailers and installers’ obsession with ripping
